Deborah has a reverence for desert and earth elements and the Phoenician metaphor of life rising from heat and ash.
To that end, she combines ceramic, sand, glass, metal, paper, and found objects with her abstract aesthetic, resulting in a novel technique she calls the "Sonoran Process"--multi-media relief works on deliberately rusted steel panels.
These works can be dynamically displayed indoors as fine art, or thrive outdoors as rugged living sculptures that transform with the elements.
All works are acrylic, glazed ceramic and cement on steel. For more information or sales, please contact the artist.
